💬 Panel Discussion: “Pharmaceutical Security in the European Union – Will EU Citizens Have Guaranteed Access to Medicines and Medical Devices?” addressed the issue of access to medicines and medical devices across the EU 🇪🇺. The discussion emphasized the importance of the list of critical medicines 📜 and the revision of pharmaceutical legislation (Pharma Package).
🔹 The need for European cooperation 🤝 in optimizing distribution chains, as well as increasing flexibility and production capacity 🏭, was highlighted to guarantee equal access to medicines. Sustainable development 🌱 and safe production of medical devices must be seen as an investment in public health 🏥. Legal changes 📜 supporting innovation and the use of EU funds 💶 can significantly contribute to achieving these goals.
🔴 The pharmaceutical security panel was one of the five key topics discussed at the “Health and Security for the Future” 📅 conference, summarizing the ROAD TO PRESIDENCY initiative. The event took place at the Medical University of Warsaw 🏛️.
