We are pleased to announce the completion of proceedings initiated by our requests to the editors-in-chief of the Gazeta Wyborcza daily newspaper and the wyborcza.pl online news service for the rectification of the false information contained in a piece written by Judyta Watola concerning the work of Institute for Social Affairs Development foundation, published in November 2022 in Gazeta Wyborcza and on wyborcza.pl.

RECTIFICATION DOMESTIC NEWS SECTION, APRIL 28, 2023, 5:45 PM A news piece entitled Czarnek funds a conference with Niedzielski in the USA: a few hundred thousand zloty spent in hours [Polish: Czarnek funduje w USA konferencję z Niedzielskim. Kilka godzin, kilkaset tysięcy złotych] by Judyta Watoła, published on Wyborcza.pl on November 15, 2022, contained false information. The article suggests that the foundations named below operate exclusively as vehicles for obtaining subsidies. Meanwhile, both foundations are legal entities pursuing their respective objectives as stated in their constitutional documents. The piece indicated that the National Freedom Institute awarded the Kulski Foundation three subsidy grants worth almost PLN 1.5 million, or two subsidy grants totaling almost PLN 775 million. In fact, the Kulski Foundation has received two grants worth a total of PLN 775,000. The piece informed that most of the participants in the Washington DC conference had travelled from Poland.
