Healthcare Policy Summit – Rare Diseases: Professor Alicja Chybicka on the urgent need to adopt the Act on Rare Diseases

During an expert workshop, Professor Alicja Chybicka – Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Group for Rare Diseases – spoke about the need to create a comprehensive and substantive Act on rare diseases in Poland. This Act would be based on the Rare Disease Plan, the principles of which were presented (also at this meeting) by Deputy Minister of Health, Professor Urszula Demkow.
