Małgorzata Bogusz, on behalf of the Institute for Social Policy Development, together with 34 representatives of other non-governmental organizations, participated in the inaugural meeting of the Council of Non-Governmental Organizations for Polish Presidency of the EU Council.
Starting on January 1, 2025, Poland will assume the rotating six-month presidency of the EU Council for the second time in its history as a member of the EU. Ahead lies an intense action plan, and the NGO Council aims to provide substantive support to the Polish government during its presidency.
“I am pleased to be part of the process of co-creating and shaping Poland’s priorities, particularly from a healthcare perspective. Personally, this is already my second experience contributing to this important initiative, as I had the opportunity to collaborate during Poland’s first presidency in 2011. I always emphasize that healthcare should be a priority. I strongly believe that the healthcare agenda has great potential, and the involvement of such a diverse group of people and institutions in its implementation is key,” said Małgorzata Bogusz. “Let’s work together and achieve tangible results not only for our country but also for the entire European Union.”
