Exciting times ahead for the !

Following the recent European elections, new leadership and committees are taking shape, promising dynamics on various topics.

 July 23 has been a big day – @European Parliament’s 20 standing committees and 4 subcommittees chose their Chairs and Vice-Chairs.

We are, of course, keenly interested in the latest developments that take place within the healthcare sector.

The #ENVI Committee – the largest committee in the house that shapes policies on the environment, public health, and food safety, has welcomed new leadership with Antonio Decaro from Italy (S&D) at the helm.

The following Polish MEPs have joined the team:

• Elżbieta Łukacijewska (PO/EPP)
• Jacek Ozdoba (PiS/ECR)
• Adam Jarubas (PSL/EPP)

• Anna Zalewska (PiS/ECR)

We wish the Committee, and particularly the Polish representatives, the very best in all their activities and endeavors.

However, there are more updates just around the corner! The Subcommittee on Public Health (#SANT) has also chosen its representatives. Hence, we would like to convey our heartfelt congratulations to @Adam Jarubas on his well-deserved election as Chair of the Subcommittee on Public Health! Mr. Jarubas has always been eager to share his invaluable insights and expertise on healthcare-related activities at the EU level, including the event organized by the Institute for Social Policy Development under the title “Pathway to the Presidency: Discussing Health Priorities for Poland’s Presidency in the EU Council”.

We eagerly await the first decisions and successes in the activities of the newly formed committees, and we will keep you informed about the most important ones!
