Beata Salonek has joined the team at the Institute for Social Policy Development (IRSS), where she will serve as Office Director. In this role, she will be responsible for coordinating office operations, liaising with external entities, and overseeing the Institute’s promotion and communication efforts.

Beata Salonek is a specialist with over 12 years of experience in social media, promotion, event organization, and brand communication. She spent 17 years working in the media industry as a social media team leader – managing team operations, developing communication strategies, and leading social media communication projects.

Previously, she worked at the Communication Office of the Ministry of Health, where she contributed to external communication efforts on social media and the ministry’s website. She also co-organized press conferences and prepared coverage of events involving ministry leadership.

She holds degrees in journalism and social communication as well as cultural studies from the Bolesław Prus Warsaw School of Humanities. She lectures and conducts workshops on social media for students at SWPS University and the University of Warsaw.

“I’m excited to strengthen the position of the Institute for the Development of Social Affairs in Poland’s public health sector. I believe my previous experience will help effectively communicate the Institute’s projects. Together with the team, we will work to build IRSS as a space for in-depth debate and exchange of views among diverse communities,” said Beata Salonek.
