Cancers detected early are effectively treated

Starting July 1, 2025, individuals with BRCA-dependent cancers will be able to undergo genetic testing on an outpatient basis, without the need for hospitalization. All it takes is a visit to the hospital for a blood draw, and patients can return home the same day.

Professor Jan Lubiński, a specialist in clinical genetics and pathology, states that hereditary predisposition to cancer can be diagnosed with exceptional efficiency. A simple test for the most common mutations found in Polish women and men is enough to identify a high genetic risk of developing malignant tumors in one million people.

Professor Lubiński emphasizes that cancers detected early are effectively treated.
