“The Pathway to the Presidency” – debate on the health priorities of the Polish presidency in the EU Council already on January 30, 2024!

On January 30, 2024, the Institute for Social Policy Development (IRSS) will host a debate titled “The Pathway to the Presidency: Discussing Health Priorities for Poland’s Presidency in the EU Council”. This marks the third event organized by the IRSS as part of a series dedicated to developing proposals regarding the health program of the Polish presidency in the European Union Council in 2025.

During the upcoming “The Pathway to the Presidency” debate, jointly with a range of distinguished experts, we will be pondering over the health priorities that Poland should focus on after assuming the presidency of the EU at the beginning of 2025. The envisaged panel discussions will address topics, such as the current trio presidency action plans, digitization in healthcare, preventive measures, and challenges related to demographic changes. Additionally, experts will also discuss legislative acts currently in place at the European Union healthcare agenda.

The debate “The Pathway to the Presidency: Discussing Health Priorities for Poland’s Presidency in the EU Council ” will take place on 30 January 30, 2024, at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel (2 Bolesława Prusa Street, 00-493 Warsaw) at 10:00-18:45.
